I'll be reading with Brenda Peynado in New York City twice this week. On February 14th, we'll read cowritten pieces at An Beal Bocht at 8pm. And then on February 18, we'll both read at Tannat Wine & Cheese starting at 9pm.  I've never actually been to NYC before, so I'm pretty excited!

Somehow I missed this, but last November my story "Flight of the Crow Boys" was recognized as a special mention in The Pushcart Prize XLI anthology. I'm very grateful to Witness for publishing the story initially and to Salt Hill Journal for reprinting it.
